I booked my free heart scan but upgraded to the complete body scan while I was there. It's hard to resist that upgrade, though it is pricey. Once you are there, why not? Beyond that, it was a good experience. The premises are very clean, the staff friendly and the entire process only took minutes once it began. So yes, highly recommended and for some, the heart scan will be enough. In my case, I learned something I did not know and will take steps to improve it.
I thought the scan center has a very nice atmosphere. Almost like a spa. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice. I believe his name was Randy. The only down side I had was waiting for my scan, I could hear the manager and an employee having a very heated conversation in her office which is right next to the mens waiting room. It was a little uncomfortable.
I went to this place for a free heart scan. It wasn't but an hour after my appointment that I was called with my results. Unfortunately, my calcium score was indicative of a possible problem and the owner made me promise to see my doctor. I did and the doctor scheduled me for a stress test and electrocardiogram which further revealed I have a blockage. I am now in the process of getting a procedure to have it fixed after the Dr gets my blood work. Who knows? I may have saved my life by deciding to go get the scan based solely on family history and not any symptoms. Thank you Life Imaging for your professionalism and help!
